Easy and quick DIY test for surface mold. Get an indication of mold on visible surfaces so you know if venting / cleaning is necessary. Detailed description This test is ideal for those who suspect mold on walls, ceilings, woodwork, joints or other surfaces. The pressure plates make it easy to get visual proof of the presence of mold spores. Features & Benefits Easy to use – press the plate against the surface with suspected mold Time from sampling to reading: a few days (see instructions for exact time) Visual reading: compare with included guide/scale Helps you assess whether the mold level is acceptable, medium or too high Danish guide included User manual Wash your hands and make sure the surface is dry and dust-free. Take a pressure plate and gently press against the area with suspected mold. Place the plate on a durable surface and leave it at room temperature for 4 days (see instruction sheet). After 4 days, compare the result with the reading guide. If the result is above average, it is recommended to clean and possibly repeat the test after cleaning. Warnings / Notes The test does not show what type of mold is involved. It is recommended to use gloves and possibly a mask when taking samples.
