The Yellow Lily Leek of Spanish woodlands and a popular, old garden favourite. A charming miniature with clusters of starry, daffodil-yellow flowers on 30cm stems in early summer. The blue-green leaves are broad and handsome and still fresh and presentable when the flowers come out. 'Jeannine' is the best selection with larger more reliable flowers, neat in appearance and always bringing a bright sparkle to its corner of the garden. Winter hardy and suitable for naturalizing in the sunny border or in light woodland. Plant generously for a golden summer send-off.
