Sydney's ocean pools are one of the things I love most about this city. Mona Vale is one of the less celebrated ones, but from directly above at dawn, it's jaw-dropping. Moss-cover ed rock, raw coastline, a perfectly framed rectangle of calm water surrounded by the chaos of the ocean. A place thousands of people walk past every week, completely transformed by altitude and early light. Show more
