Because of a partnership with a US monarch breeding and educational facility we are able to offer 100% natural death monarchs! IMPORTANT-Sellers with perfect specimens they claim died of natural causes are unfortunately lying or being lied too. Butterflies don't die gracefully. By the time the reach the end of their life they will show wing chips, tears, broken antennas, etc... THESE WILL NOT BE PERFECT BUTTERFLIES! But, each tear or chip is part of that butterflies story and a testimony to its life (and with these specimens-hopefully the people they got to educate along the way). However, we will also make sure none are 'garbage' or unusable specimens. Because these are only monarchs that have died naturally our stock is EXTREMELY LIMITED. We hope to continue offering these, but it will be seasonally. These are raised in the US from US stock. United States monarchs are typically BIGGER and more COLORFUL than others on the market. Almost all monarchs being sold are from Peru or Central America and are typically darker and smaller. we have a limited stock of these and will likely only be available one more time this year as they are not bred year-round like Central American variations.
