During our six weeks together, we will explore a range of clay techniques that will allow us to complete a couple of projects. Using the potter’s wheel, the techniques of assemblin g and altering, and a few other fun methods, students will learn to create several items (for example, a handled mug). This class is for all levels and will include demonstrations, but will not be focused on just wheel-throwing instruction. Classes run for 6 weeks, once a week, and cost $425, which includes instruction, clay, firing, and glazing.
