Bacopa Monnieri is actually a marginal plant, meaning that it can transition between completely submerged to immersed like a dream! Try it by allowing your Moneywort to grow right out of your tank and drape over the side. If it gets enough light and nutrients, it'll even produce little white flowers for you. I personally grow these both ways, so your bunches may have harvested stems that have both emergent and submerged leaves, plus usually some roots too!
