Designed to respond like a pair of ears with added spatial detail, and extended low end, the High SPL version also responds with extremely low distortion at loud sound sources. The enhanced accuracy of the Omni SPL allow for diverse applications, making it an invaluable tool for any engineer looking to elevate their recordings and mixes while providing enhanced stereo field depth and incredible spatial accuracy. The Omni SPL can be used as a stand-alone tool, or in tandem with other tools to create a deep and more accurate sonic palette. Omni SPL is a transformerless transistor-based circuit with custom tuned capsule. The capsule response is akin to having a High Shelf EQ (or "Air) added to your signal, but because it is tuned into the capsule response, your image depth is more accurate. The Omni SPL is also very "friendly" with respects to phase coherency and and plays well with other microphones in the image.
