Seafarer TagA solid brass dog tag designed to age beautifully over time while keeping your dog’s details secure. HARNESS SIZE GUIDE Refer to the full size guide above for exact measurements SECURING YOUR SEAFARER TAG Constructed entirely from marine-grade brass, the Seafarer Tag is built to the highest standards. However, the U-shackle must be sufficiently tightened to ensure it does not come loose. U-shackles are maritime hardware, typically tightened using a specialised shackle key, so finger-tight is often not enough. We recommend using some leverage – pliers work well – to fully secure the shackle. Taking this small step when attaching your tag will help ensure it stays on your dog for years to come. CARING FOR YOUR SEAFARER TAG Brass is extremely durable and won’t rust like traditional metals, but it will naturally oxidise over time. As the copper in brass oxidises, it can develop a green patina which may temporarily mark light-coloured coats. This is a natural ageing process and won’t harm your dog or your tag. For dogs who spend a lot of time in salty or wet environments, applying a small amount of mineral oil can help slow oxidation and maintain the tag’s finish. LIGHTEN YOUR PAWPRINT A considered pairing of comfort, durability, and purpose – designed to be worn daily and kept out of landfill.
