A varietal of Tieguanyin from Anxi County, Fujian. Monkey Pick grows in high elevations with unique terroir, which is responsible for this tea's oily liquor and floral-sweet flavor . Legend has it that it was monks who originally trained monkeys to pick these valuable and inaccessible tea leaves from remote cliff sides as tribute for the imperial court.
