About The Monna Cardigan is a vintage style knit, inspired by the streets of Paris. This knitted cardigan is reminiscent of the je ne sais quoi attitude and sunday walks in the city. The Monna Cardigan has puff sleeves and feminine detailing, and worked in a beautifully soft baby alpaca yarn, making it lightweight but beautifully easy to throw on. The Monna Cardigan Knitting Pattern is worked from the top down, starting at the neck and picking up sts along the back and shoulders. Stitches are kept on a stitch holder/waste yarn while the front is shaped on both sides before joining together. The button band is worked at the same time along the fronts. The cardigan is then knit down to the hem, with feminine detailing before ribbing. Set in sleeves are made top down with puff detailing and short rows. You can make either short or long sleeves, both finished with ribbed detailing.
