My Monster Burners are hand built from mixed stoneware, glazed in black and embellished with optional round or menacing sharp teeth. Measuring approximately 11cm x 11cm x 9cm, it offers an interactive experience—flip the burner onto its side, and smoke rises from a hidden butthole. Pumping your hands over the eye sockets forces out beautiful butthole smoke rings, adding a mischievous twist to the ritual. Over time, as the incense burns, the teeth darken—just like a smoker’s—adding even more character to the design. A warning: the burner gets very hot during use and should be left alone until fully cooled. Each piece transforms incense burning into a spectacle of mystery, curiosity, and playful surprise. My collection of incense burners is a tribute to childhood memories of trailing behind my mother in Buddhist temples, enveloped in the rich scent of burning incense.
