Montes Alpha Malbec from Colchagua Valley, Chile, is a superb still red wine, showcasing the depth and structure of this variety. This dry Malbec undergoes a meticulous vinificatio n process, including cold soaking and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by post-fermentation maceration. Half of the blend is then aged for 12 months in French oak, imparting complexity and roundness. On the nose, it reveals enticing aromas of ripe cherries, violets, and notes of vanilla and dulce de leche. The palate is well-balanced with rounded, fine-grained tannins, offering a rich, deeply flavoured, and lingering finish.
