Students must bring ALL of the materials listed on the Materials List (see slide). LOCATION THE ARTISTRY FINE ART GALLERY STUDIO 479 W 6th St., Suite 100, San Pedro, CA 90731 Lisa Mozzini-McDill’s artistic approach balances realism with expressive, loose brushwork, resulting in artwork that is not only visually compelling but also emotionally resonant. Her paintings focus on the interplay of light and shadow, carefully composed to evoke a sense of depth, meaning, or emotion. Through her work, Lisa aims to connect with her audience, sharing the emotional impact she experiences while creating each piece. A graduate of San Diego State University with a BA in Graphic Communications, Lisa earned Honors and Distinction in Art. She spent over a decade working in San Diego as a graphic artist, illustrator, and portrait artist. Lisa continued her education through workshops with notable artists including Elizabeth Tolley, John Budicin, Ken Auster, Michael Obermeyer, and Joseph Todorovitch. Now primarily working in oil, she focuses on plein air landscapes, larger studio pieces, and commissioned portraits. Her work has been featured in The Press-Enterprise’s artist spotlight and published in Orange County’s Best Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine, and PleinAir Magazine. Lisa is an Artist Member of the California Art Club and a Signature Member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. Lisa teaches at The Artistry Gallery, her own studio, and at VP Fine Art. She also offers workshops and demonstrations for various art groups.
