The unit works with most vintage Moog synthesisers, like the Minimoog Model D and Moog Modular Systems with the 6 pin accessory port. Resembling a small tom drum with a real drumhead, it allows performers to trigger synthesiser sounds by striking the pad with sticks or hands. The unit features "Scale" and "Sensitivity" controls, along with CV and S-trigger outputs, enabling dynamic modulation of pitch, filter, and envelope parameters in connected synths. Notably, Carl Palmer of Emerson, Lake & Palmer utilised the 1130 in the track "Toccata" from their 1973 album "Brain Salad Surgery," showcasing its potential in progressive rock compositions. Due to its rarity and historical significance, the Moog 1130 remains a sought-after piece among collectors and electronic musicians. Condition: This is a used unit. Physically this unit is in pretty good condition for its age! It shows some general wear from use and age like some nicks, chips and marks. There is some oxidisation on the metal parts.
