It builds on the legacy of Liebesleid and CHACONNE, but this time with a completely re-engineered driver, a more comfortable stainless steel housing, and a new tuning profile. Stainless steel shell, refined design Inspired by the beloved Liebesleid design but built for better comfort and durability, the Pavane replaces brass with precision-machined stainless steel. It feels dense but not heavy, with smooth contours and an understated finish. A fresh take on dynamics A newly-designed 13.5mm external magnetic long-stroke dynamic driver delivers more air movement, which means stronger, fuller bass and improved dynamic expression. The external magnet design improves efficiency, giving you high sensitivity without sacrificing headroom. Third-gen DLC dome diaphragm The driver uses MOONDROP’s third-generation DLC (diamond-like carbon) dome composite diaphragm. It’s a layered structure, combining DLC with two complementary materials to balance stiffness, damping, and weight. The result is deeper bass, smoother treble, and a midrange that’s full of emotion. Measured performance meets musical tuning The Pavane isn’t trying to impress you with peaks or scoops. It’s tuned by the MOONDROP acoustic team with help from the B&K 5128 measurement rig, and it leans on years of accumulated listening expertise. The result is a laid-back, full-bodied tonal balance with ultra-low distortion (THD ≤0.05% @94dB) and strong technical performance. Fixed cable, flexible plug The Pavane uses a non-detachable cable made from high-purity single crystal copper with silver plating in a Litz configuration. The cable is permanently attached for better reliability and to preserve the elegant shape of the earbud body, but the plug is swappable. The box includes both a 3.5mm single-ended plug and a 4.4mm balanced plug, so you’re covered whether you’re using a desktop DAC/amp or a portable player.
