The Balmuda MoonKettle draws its silhouette from the yakkan, a traditional Japanese medicine kettle, with a wide loop handle and rounded stainless steel body. A 1,200-watt element heats water quickly, with temperature adjustments from 122°F to 212°F in single-degree increments. A 30-minute hold function keeps water at temperature between pours. As it heats, a soft LED glow emanates from the base and a gentle chime signals when the target temperature is reached, with three brightness levels and three sound options.
