The lunar disc will advance automatically as the time passes midnight. Each full 24-hour rotation advances the moon phase by one day. You may need to move the time forward 48 hours+ until the correct lunar phase is displayed. As a general tip, always adjust the time by moving the hands forward rather than backward. Backward doesn’t do anything to the moon and can damage the internal mechanisms.
