Booty's Bilge is the Dominion pirate box: El Capitano, Crusty Balboa and Swiggarty Swooty, each a fine quality resin miniature with base and stat card.All three carry the Pirate keyword, and Crusty Balboa adds Animal to the mix. Buying by theme rather than by role is one of the quiet pleasures of Moonstone. The game is small enough that a troupe assembled around a single idea usually plays coherently, and a crew of Dominion pirates is about as clear an idea as the range offers.You need a fourth character to field a standard troupe. The natural pick is Barnakelle, a Troll, Spirit and Pirate legal for the Dominion, or a model from Souls of the Deep if you want the ghostly end of the same fleet. If you would rather have a heavyweight, Boulder the Troll or Firespitter both slot in without breaking the flavour.Perfectly reasonable as a first Dominion box. Three models is a manageable painting commitment, and goblins are wonderfully unfussy: paint them badly and they still look good. Multipart resin, supplied unassembled and unpainted.
