“Moon Time” 18” x 24” acrylic on boardBy Wendy Fournier, 2021 "Moon Time" is a portal—a visual invocation of the sacred liminal space where the physical and spiritual realms softly intertwine. This is the threshold, the veil between the seen and unseen, where magic is not only real, but foundational. This painting holds the rhythm of the moon—its phases, its shadows, its light—and reflects the ebb and flow we must honor on the spiritual path. It reminds us that transformation doesn’t come from force, but from alignment—with our intuition, our emotional truth, and the natural currents of life. At the heart of this piece are three animals, each a guide and teacher along the path of self-mastery: 🦉 The Owl, rendered as the largest and most prominent, symbolizes intuition. It is the voice within that sees through darkness and illusion, reminding you that inner knowing will always illuminate the path, even when the way forward is unclear. 🐙 The Octopus, mid-sized, represents adaptability, fluidity, and non-attachment. Its eight limbs remind us that we can hold many truths and move in many directions, so long as we remain centered. It teaches the sacred balance between presence and letting go. 🦊 The Fox, smallest yet swift, represents the way we move through the world. Though subtle, its energy is potent. It asks that your actions arise not from fear or habit, but from the wisdom of the owl and the flexibility of the octopus. Let each step be both clever and conscious. Together, these three create a triad of energetic intelligence: Know deeply. Flow freely. Act wisely. “Moon Time” speaks to the mystical power of self-awareness—the ability to examine how we feel, how we think, and how those internal truths are constantly constructing our outer reality. Mastery of our inner world is not optional in this time—it is essential. This painting invites you to return again and again to the quiet, to the in-between, to the mystery that lives within your own being. It is there that your power, your gifts, and your divine design reside. Let "Moon Time" be your ally in awakening your own cycles of transformation. Let it remind you: Your emotions are not to be silenced, but trusted. Your intuition is not a whisper to ignore, but a compass to follow. Your magic is not somewhere far away—it is already here. In this sacred in-between space—where dusk kisses the night and dreams begin to stir—you are always supported, always connected, always becoming.
