'Moors Study 4' is an original monoprint on heavyweight cartridge paper. Drypoint is a form of intaglio printing using card as a plate and scratching into it using a range of blunt instruments. Printing ink (or heavy body oil paint) is then applied and wiped off, with the card depressions retaining the ink and producing the image as it is pressed. This print was made using a press and printing ink. The image is 19 x 24cm (overall paper size is 28 x 37.5cm) and is supplied unmounted and unframed - this makes delivery easier and enables you to frame to your preference.
