The Mora Fire Steel is offered separately, and is the same fire steel which is included in Mora's "survival" knife packges. The steel itself is 2.5" by around 5/16". You don't need anything special to use this fire steel, any sharp and hard object will work just fine, like the back of a knife blade, or a sharp edge of a rock. Show more
