Case – Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type I The Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type I Case is a supplemental ration system designed to provide additi onal calories and nutrition when operating in high-altitude or cold-weather environments. This case contains supplemental ration packs intended to enhance standard meal rations by increasing daily caloric intake. Each case includes 24 supplemental rations, providing nutrition support for a minimum of 12 days. The rations are factory sealed and shelf stable with a 3+ year shelf life when stored in a cool, dry environment. MORE Type I packs are built specifically for colder temperatures and include environment-focused components and calorie-dense food items. Each case contains eight units of each menu configuration. Menu contents may vary and are subject to substitution or change by the manufacturer. Menu #1 includes caffeinated chocolate pudding, nut and fruit mix, an energy gel or substitute bar, a toaster pastry, and cheddar cheese filled pretzels. Menu #2 includes a chocolate first strike bar, nut and fruit mix, toasted corn kernels, an energy gel when available, smoked beef snack, caffeinated gum, and a carb-fortified beverage powder.
