Her practice spans several mediums, driven by a curiosity for slow and ritualistic making processes. With a keen eye for observational studies, her paper pulp series marks a new direction towards the exploration of reclaimed fibres and a focus on construction from destruction. The work's undulating forms echo the dunes and waves of the Australian landscape, a shape that repeats in nature the same way her hands repeat the act of making, batch after batch. Sasha graduated from Australian National University School of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Design in 2021.
