Classic Soft Dome Midrange unit, 8Ω. UK STOCK ITEM The Morel MDM 55 is a hybrid 54mm (2") soft dome midrange drive unit from the Classic series. This hand assembled unit has a low resonance of just 380 Hz and a wide linear bandwidth, the response between 2-5 kHz is flat ± 2dB or better. This unit has a very compact square faceplate allowing close spacing of drivers. Features include an Acuflex hand coated soft textile dome, 54mm Hexatech aluminium voice coil, a vented hybrid mixed magnet assembly and a critically tuned and damped aluminium rear chamber.
