His other hand removes a key ring from his inside coat pocket. It is plainly seen to contain only keys. The keyring is placed under a handkerchief. Now the spectator's ring is caused to vanish. The hand is opened and is completely empty. The spectator himself removes the hank and there linked between the keys is the missing ring. The spectator has to unscrew the retaining lock to remove the keys and retrieve his ring!
