Morelli trofie pasta is a staple pasta shape in Ligurian cuisine. The most popular way to serve the short, twisted strands of pasta is with traditional Genovese basil pesto. The trofie comes with a recipe for trofie with homemade no-garlic pesto, and cooks in boiling water in 15-16 minutes. Morelli have been producing pasta for five generations, and siblings Lucia, Antonio and Marco still run the factory today.
