This little manual flash is designed to elevate your photography experience with its compact size and fast recycling time. It is great for night time and low light photography but also for everyday outdoor shots as it allows you to use it as a fill light giving you just the right amount of light to erase unwanted shadows and make your images POP! One of the standout features of this flash is its fast recycling time, allowing you to snap successive shots without missing a beat. Say goodbye to waiting for 10+ seconds for your flash to be ready. The hot shoe mount ensures seamless compatibility with a variety of camera models — film and digital alike, making it a versatile choice for photographers with different setups. The simple and intuitive controls make it easy to get started and find the right lighting for the perfect exposure. No manual needed! For cameras with manual shutter speeds, set your camera to the flash sync speed — usually marked with a little lightning bolt. If you’re not sure which one that is, just go with 1/60, that’s the safe bet for most cameras. The Mori M2 is super versatile and works across a wide range of apertures under the same lighting. For example, at ISO 100 with your subject about 2 metres away, we've had really good results from f2.8 and f11. If the flash feels a bit tricky to slide onto your camera, just press down the small metal pin on the base. On the back of the flash you’ll see settings like ¼ or ½. These basically let you tweak your exposure. For instance, ½ is like under-exposing by one stop. The table below is based on the full power setting (1/1). Cold Shoe adapter For all of you shooting VERY vintage cameras that do not have a hot shoe, we bring you the Cold Shoe adapter! 😉 This adapter just slides underneath your flash to allow you to use the M2 (or any other hot shoe flash) with your camera seamlessly. Just slide the adapter on your camera, plug in the included PC sync cable and fire ahead. This kit also allows you to use the flash « by hand » allowing you to experiment more with different lighting angles. Each adapter has been carefully modified by hand to be able to be fully compatible with your vintage film camera.
