This is a good plant for a trough or the rock garden as well as for growing under glass in a dedicated alpine house. The name is commemorative of professor Moris of Turin. Coming f rom Corsica and Sardinia, it is an evergreen plant which is extremely easy to grow in any well drained soil. It produces a tap root which will grow to find water, even in drier soils. The foliage is long and deeply indented, arranged in tight rosettes which become clumped together in larger plants. Yellow flowers are produces and are a good size, summer, and relatively stemless. Flowering lasts for a long time in summer if the conditions are good. Show more
