Moroccan soap is a rich mixture of Aker Fassi powder, olive oil, glycerin, Vitamin E and coconut, argan, and castor oils blended to create a pliable, buttery paste with a bright crimson color. The essential components of Moroccan soap are locally sourced olive oil and Aker Fassi. Aker Fassi is a red powder made from the leaves of anemone flowers, poppies, and pomegranate seeds. It is famous in the Maghreb region as an all-natural beauty product and has been used by Berber women as a favorite cosmetic since ancient times.
