1.125" (1 1/8) Shaft stuffing Box, this is the plastic unit with teflon packing inside. Operates the same as the brass style, however the plastic box does not require large wrenche s to adjust, simply pull the cotter pin, adjust by hand, then re-insert the cotter pin. This style is a favorite in our shop. DOES NOT FIT older ski boat with 1" shafts.Order connector hose seprate (1 3/4")NOTE: In order for ANY style of shaft packing box, stuffing box, drip-less box to work, your shaft to engine alignment MUST be correct, ALL ski boats, direct drive, or Vee-drive require that the shaft alignment should be checked annually and adjusted as needed.
