Mortimer is a paper-pieced skull block in two sizes. The large-sized block can be used to make 3 different sizes of quilt, with two border options. The pattern is for the Skull blo ck (in two sizes) and the border options – assembly and numbering is included. General “how to paper-piece instructions” are not included (please see my book Quilt Talk® for general paper-piecing instructions) NOTE: Before sewing, you’ll need to trace at home, or copy the enclosed patterns on 11’’ x 17’’ paper at your local library, copy shop, or office supply store.
