The Mosaico Sofa is an inventive and highly versatile modular sofa designed by Yonoh for Sancal. Mosaico is the Spanish word for mosaic and it relates to the extreme adaptability of this product, as its various components can be assembled together like a puzzle, to suit any need and any space. The foundation of this modular system is the base, which comes in 6 different shapes. These can be used as side tables if topped in wood or marble, or as a seat if topped in upholstered seat pads. In addition, upholstered seat backs can can be attached to the upholstered seats, turning them into sofa units. The system allows for endless compositions to be achieved, for example a sofa with a backrest at one end and a marble topped coffee table at the other.
