It’s the 1980s, and actor Craig Anatra had a Maserati, a house in the Hills, and a starring role in a TV detective show. Fast forward to the TikTok era, and Craig is invisible, irr elevant, and living above a dive bar in Chicago. Desperate to reignite his career (and supplement his Social Security), he works the nostalgia convention circuit while writing a bogus autobiography that he hopes will grab the interest of the true-crime crowd. But when a mysterious internet sleuth uses Craig’s own fabrications to accuse him of being a serial killer, Craig finds himself in a real-life fight for his life.
