Western Massachusetts artist, Hillary Wilbur Ferro, demonstrates her love of nature and the outdoors through her hand made distinctive sgraffito dishes and magnets. Sgraffito, ital ian for scratch, is the meditative process of carving the layer of underglaze painted onto a clay surface. Hillary received her BFA and MEd from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. 4" x 2" One of a Kind dish Hillary's artwork displays her love of the natural world, whether in the medium of clay, printmaking or painting.
