Wheel thrown black stoneware left raw on the outside and glazed with a metallic glaze on the inside so that it is watertight. The finished glaze piece is sanded by hand to create a n extra smooth surface and causes the fine sand in the black clay to shimmer. This is part of an in-development series entitled Mother Night.
