Military Life: Determined to rise above his circumstances, Lateef enlisted in the U.S. Navy two weeks after graduating high school to first become the Master At Arms in bootcamp (2nd in command), as a Nuclear Machinist Mate quickly rising through the ranks to make 2nd Class Petty Officer (E-5), later earning his commission as a Naval Officer to become a student pilot and attending Supply Corp making the rank of Lieutenant (0-3E) learning business principles which would awaken his entrepreneurial spirit. Corporate America: His relentless drive didn’t stop there—he transitioned into the world of business as a licensed financial advisor, insurance agent, realtor, real estate investor, marketing manager, sales consultant and supervision principal. He became a million-dollar club member and consulted for many Fortune 100 companies like Farm Bureau, Principal, Prudential, Allstate, USAA, BB&T, Truist, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. Family Life: He received bachelor degree in Marketing, Political Science and a minor in Naval Science while attending Georgia Southern University (formerly Armstrong-Atlantic State University) and Savannah State University (SSU) and pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc in the process. He is a devoted husband and father of four, two girls and two boys, who are/were all active in extracurricular activities, honor roll students and athletes. They've all been successful in life, possess great character traits of integrity and stayed out of jail/trouble.
