With alternative rock ruling the media, charts, and airwaves by the mid-1990s, Motorhead yet again refused to follow trends and stuck to their guns, issuing yet another set of turbo charged originals. You know what you're in for with such song titles as "War for War," "Sex and Death," "All Gone to Hell," and the album-opening title track. SACRIFICE proved once and for all that, like the cockroach, Motorhead could survive just about anything--famine, pestilence, line-up juggling, and switching record labels.
