A beautifully handwoven vintage Persian Moud rug, featuring an elegant all-over floral design set against a rich midnight navy field, woven with intricate blossoms and scrolling vi nes in soft powder blue, lilac, ivory, terracotta, and warm tobacco tones with pops of bright green. Refined yet full of character, this is a timeless piece that brings quiet sophistication to any interior. Originating from eastern Iran, Moud rugs are celebrated for their exceptional craftsmanship, fine weave, and beautifully balanced floral compositions. Unlike the bold geometry of tribal rugs, Moud pieces are known for their delicate botanical motifs and graceful symmetry, making them equally at home in both classic and contemporary spaces. Handwoven from high-quality wool with naturally softened dyes, this rug has a wonderfully dense, luxurious pile that feels soft underfoot while remaining incredibly durable. The deep navy ground provides the perfect backdrop for the intricate floral pattern, allowing every detail to stand out with remarkable clarity and depth. In excellent vintage condition, with no holes or tears. There is a little gentle age-related wear, consistent with a handmade piece of this age, adding to its authentic charm. Some of the fringe is uneven in areas, this can be trimmed if required. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
