I can say that this drawing changed my life. We moved to the Mount in January 2021, but I did this drawing in our house in Ohakune, for our first market ever on the 14th of Novembe r 2020, in times of masks and Covid. It was one of the few art prints we had to display. We didn't know what was going to happen... but it worked! We sold our first product – an A1 size Mount Maunganui map, framed! – and also some postcards, a few watercolours, and a handful of magnets. We were over the moon and in the Mount! So we took this as a sign that we have to trust in our art. Our records from the last five years show that we've sold more than 500 items of different sizes with this design.
