The image is printed on canvas and wrapped around the frame. The frame is 1.5 inches thick, and comes with paper backing and hanging hardware. -Mount Rushmore- supporters before th e carvings, melded with after "Doane Robinson and the support his great dream established" - I believe that's what the beginning text reads, but I can't make out after the "-" May 4, 1932 Doane is known as the "father of MT Rushmore," and I believe he is the man toward the left, in the bow tie, between the front left two men. The historic photo is before you can make out the faces on Mt. Rushmore, however, you can see construction on top and what seems to be power lines running up.
