The Mountain Bear Labradorite Ring is a band in 925 sterling silver carrying a bear standing on a rugged mountain and set with a polished labradorite. The rock is carved along the band in broken planes and the bear is worked above it, so the ring reads from the base of the mountain upward. Labradorite is why the setting works: gray at rest, it throws a sheet of blue and green when tilted, so the ring changes as the hand does while the carved rock stays fixed. The bear on the summit stands for endurance and for holding ground, worn as a symbol rather than a religious piece.
