This strong-build snowshoe was designed for workers and is perfectly adapted for the backcountry. Its aluminum tubing diameter, used for the frame, is oversized to 7/8” to improve solidity and durability. The sturdy HD pivot system offers a free rotation. Included with the pivot, is a rotation limiter that makes walking backwards and jumping over obstacles easier. The decking, made of a plastic and elastomer alloy, offers a high resistance to very cold weather (-76°C/-104°F) and harsh terrain conditions. This model is available in extra-large sizes for a better flotation in deep snow conditions. Care & Maintenance Aluminum snowshoes are practically maintenance free. After each use, the pivot and ratchet systems need to be inspected for accumulated dirt and debris. Clean if necessary.
