Mouse melons, also known as Cucamelons or Mexican Sour Gherkins, are Native to Mexico and Central America. Crunchy and tart, they’re perfect for snacking right off the vine. They also make great pickles and cocktail garnishes. Be patient as they can be a bit slow to start, but once they get going they’re very enthusiastic and will often regrow from underground tubers.
