Aspen Gold is a strip-pieced quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Kari Nichols. Ten fabrics are chosen in a run from lightest to darkest, joined into color bands and subcut into 3" strips, so the finished quilt reads as a graded wash of color. Fusible-web leaves are appliquéd on top, and the darkest fabric supplies the narrow accent strips and the border.
