This script will make your MPC Studio Mk2 Work with Ableton Live. This script enables the whole control surface to be used with Ableton Live. Most of the functionality of products like the Akai APC, Ableton Push is now possible using the MPC Studio Mk2. The screen is also implemented in this version. If you already own the MPC Studio Mk2, and you're an Ableton Live user, this script is a MUST HAVE for you. Currently the script supports Ableton Live versions 10, 11, and 12 and works on both Windows and Mac version. Installation instructions: Navigate to your Ableton Live user library, remote scripts folder. "Mac": ~/Music/Ableton/User Library/Remote Scripts "Windows": ~\Documents\Ableton\User Library\ Remote Scripts Create a folder with the name: "MPC_Studio_Mk2" Unzip the contents of the download. Paste the contents into the folder previously created. Restart Ableton live by closing and re-opening the software. Once installed, you'll need to enable the device in the settings. In Ableton Live, go the settings menu -> Midi Under the midi settings find control surfaces. Select the MPC Studio Mk2 on the left, and then set the input and output to the Public port of the MPC Studio Mk2, both in and out. Once the midi settings are correct, your device should light up and be activated. Enjoy!
