My Pals Are Here! International Science Grade 4 By fourth grade, science begins asking students to do more than observe—they start organizing information, comparing ideas, and explaining how systems work together. My Pals Are Here! International Science Grade 4 supports that transition while keeping science manageable to teach at home. Across multiple units, students explore biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science through topics like life cycles, animal and plant structures, natural resources, energy, motion, light, and sound. Built around Singapore’s 5E approach—engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate—the program encourages students to investigate questions, discuss observations, apply new ideas, and carefully think through scientific concepts. The program uses three components: a full-color textbook, a consumable activity book, and a teacher guide that provides lesson support, pacing suggestions, materials lists, and answer keys. Lessons combine reading, writing, discussion, illustrations, activities, and hands-on experiences without relying on large experiments or complicated preparation. The structure remains intentionally parent-friendly while gradually increasing student responsibility for observations, explanations, and written work. This level begins by asking students not only to learn scientific ideas, but also to organize, connect, and explain them more clearly.
