Although the color itself is clear, it provides iridescent finishes to painted surfaces and reflects light in a color tone. The shine is subtle, compared to metallic paints, however its pearl-like shimmer is visible from every angle. Suitable for car models, character models, figures, and many more. The colors would appear differently depending on the color of the base. If applied over a white base, the surface will have a shimmery pearl-like effect. If applied over a black base, Mr. CRYSTAL COLOR gives a metallic feel to the surface. After drying the base color, apply 1 to 2 coats if painting with a paint brush or 2 to 3 coats if airbrushing. Let each coat dry for few hours. Apply 2 coats of clear paints if needed, to achieve extra glossiness.
