MR33 O-ring grease can be used to protect the O-rings in the dampers and differential from swelling too quickly. You use a thin film of this grease to coat the O-ring with it. This reduces the amount of silicone oil that reaches the O-ring, protecting it from unwanted swelling. If an O-ring is swollen then the friction of the ring on the piston rod or diff outrdive and the whole characteristic of diff or damper changes.
