It is simply made from lots of granny squares. Once you have got the hang of the flowers in the centre, this is very simple and fun to make. You can of course make this as large or small as you like, one square would look great as a cushion cover! The full blanket uses 33 skeins of Plump DK in the following colours: Loop stocks this yarn in the Spring bedspread kit but not on its own. You can of course substitute any DK weight yarn of your choice for the pattern. BC Garn Semila Organic DK would make a good choice or the De Rerum Natura Gilliatt. You could also use Mrs. Moon Pudding sport weight or De Rerum Natura Ulysse as an alternative.
