The Breakwater Wader takes everything we learned building the Coastal Wader — multiple seasons of trials, testing and feedback from our team of saltwater guides and ambassadors — and strips it down to the essentials. Same 4-layer TORAY® waterproof-breathable fabric throughout. Same fully waterproof YKK Aquaseal front zipper, with a protected welt, that makes getting in and out easy after a long day on the water. Streamlined everywhere else, so you carry what you need and nothing you don't. A webbing daisy-chain with a D-ring on the right chest gives you a place to clip accessories and a tether. Two zippered, fully fleece-lined hand-warmer pockets keep your hands working on cold mornings, with a top-access water-resistant exterior pocket and an interior dump pocket — with a D-ring for the Southerly Waterproof Pouch — for sunglasses, keys and remotes. The waist is wading-belt compatible with a 3-point attachment, the stretch-webbing harness adjusts with low-profile buckles, and neoprene stocking feet with stretch woven gravel guards keep sand and shell out. The same short, tall and big-fit size run as the Coastal means there's a right fit for almost any angler.
